I was a bit unsure at first and checked what other people were saying, but my order showed up really fast in Canada with no customs issues at all. Smooth experience overall.

I ordered skates from FigureSkatingStore and went by their fit guide, expecting it to be accurate. But when they showed up, they were way too tight, not the normal kind of snug where you think they’ll break in, but like my toes were getting crushed as soon as I put them on.

I feel a bit misled because I trusted the sizing info and now I have to deal with returns and all the back-and-forth. I just wish the guide had been clearer or more realistic, because this ended up being a frustrating waste of time.

I’ve ordered a few things from FigureSkatingStore over time, mostly when I’m already sitting around looking up skating stuff anyway, and the prices are kind of hit or miss for me. Some items seem totally fair, but then other times once shipping gets added, it ends up being a little more than I expected compared to other shops. It’s not a bad place to order from at all, and I haven’t had any major issues, I just wish they had better deals more often so I didn’t feel like I had to check three other sites first

I paid to have my blades sharpened with my order, but it didn’t turn out great. When I got on the ice, the edges felt uneven and one skate was clearly grabbing more than the other. Of course I found this out right before I actually needed to use them, so the timing was frustrating. I ended up having to take them to my local shop to get fixed, which was annoying after already paying for the sharpening. Shipping was fine, but the sharpening quality definitely needs work.

I was trying to track down some skating tights and laces, and after a couple other places were completely out, I ended up finding them here. That was a nice little win. The only downside was that a few boot sizes I was looking at weren’t available, so I had to wait and check back later. Still, their inventory is solid overall, and it was easy enough to find what I needed. I’d shop here again.

My order did come through, but the processing was kinda slow, slow enough that I noticed and got a bit impatient.

The quality seemed totally fine to me too, so I think it was a good buy? Shipping took a few days, but nothing crazy. Overall, I’d say it was good value and I’d probably order again.

They actually had a good selection of skate stuff, which was a relief because I was tired of looking around and not finding anything decent. I finally found what I needed, so that part was solid.

I don’t think I was being difficult or anything, but the return process was kind of a hassle. I just wanted to send the item back and move on, and it ended up taking more effort than it should have

I had no idea this was backordered when I placed the order. There was no warning or heads-up anywhere, which is ridiculous. A basic notice would’ve been nice, but I guess that was asking too much.

I ordered these skates thinking they’d ship out in a few days like you’d expect, but instead it felt like my order just got forgotten. There were no real updates, and I was the one stuck constantly checking the status and refreshing the tracking, which showed nothing for what felt like forever.

By the time they finally started moving, I already needed them for practice, so the whole thing put me in a bad spot. It’s frustrating when you pay for something and then feel like nobody cares unless you chase it down yourself. I definitely wouldn’t order again if I needed anything by a certain date...
